1. General Overview & Purpose:
️· What is it? The AD420 is a high-resolution (16-bit) digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for industrial control applications.
️· Primary Use: Creates a current loop output (4mA-20mA, 0mA-20mA, or 0mA-24mA) – common in industrial systems for sensor interfacing and control. It can also be configured for voltage output.
