PCB Layout Guidelines
Efficient
PCB
layout
is
critical for
stable
operation. For the best results, it is suggested
to refer to Figure 4 and follow the guidelines
below:
1. A
high-frequency
pulse
current
flows
through the loop between the SW pin,
output diode, output capacitor, and GND.
Keep this loop as short as possible to
reduce
noise
and
electromagnetic
interference.
2. Separate the PGND and AGND traces to
reduce
noise.
AGND
is
the
reference
ground of all the logic signals.
3. Connect PGND and AGND to the GND pin.
4. Place the ceramic input capacitor (CIN) as
close to the VIN pin as possible.
