32 / 36 page  Application Information TS4975 32/36 4.10 Thermo shutdown The TS4975 device has internal protection in case of over temperature by thermal shutdown. Thermal shutdown is active when the device reaches temperature 150°C. When thermo shutdown protection is active, value $Fxh (1111xxxx binary) can be read from the internal device registry. When thermo shutdown protection state disappears, the last value of control register can be read. 4.11 Demoboard A demoboard for the TS4975 is available. For more information about this demoboard, please refer to Application Note AN2151, which can be found on www.st.com. Figure 67 on page 33 shows the schematic of the demoboard.
