18 / 85 page  ams Datasheet Page 17 [v1-00] 2016-Apr-06 Document Feedback AS3412 − Detailed Description Microphone Supply The AS3412 features an integrated microphone supply charge pump. This charge pump provides the proper microphone supply voltage even with a 1.8V chip supply voltage in order to increase the sensitivity of the microphone. Figure 18: Microphone Supply Therefore the integrated charge pump generates a microphone supply voltage which is typically 2.7V. The microphone supply voltage is also used to switch off the integrated music bypass switch of the AS3412 is in active mode. Therefore, during normal operation the microphone supply must not be switched off if the TRSDA/BPL and TRSCL/BPR pins are in use.
