21 / 77 page  WTS701 Publication Release Date: May 2003 - 21 - Revision 3.09 7.3.2 Status Register The WTS701 has a sixteen-bit status register whose value is returned to the host controller during the command word. For class 2 commands, the status register is repeatedly returned every two bytes. This status register provides the host with information regarding the current status of the chip. The host can decide on required actions with this information. The Status Register is echoed back by all commands. Table 3. Status Bytes.
