Demagnetization energy

Figure 15 shows that under the considered conditions, the simplification RL = 0 Ω leads to a

significant overestimation of the dissipated energy in the high-side driver. The

overestimation is even greater as VBAT increases.

Considering that the demagnetization energy is the same for a low-side driver and for a

high-side driver of the L99MC6 for VBAT ≥ 16V, the conclusions for high battery voltages are

also applicable.
