The HICCUP is disabled during the startup to allow the VOUT to start up properly in case of

a big output capacitor requiring a high extra current to be charged.

5.4

Power Good function

The PG pin output is an open drain MOSFET. The PG is pulled low when the FB pin voltage

is lower than 91% of the nominal internal reference (0.8 V). The PG pin is VIN compatible.

5.5

Hysteretic thermal shutdown

The thermal shutdown block generates a signal that turns off the power stage if the junction

temperature goes above 150 oC. Once the junction temperature goes back to about 130 oC,

the device restarts in normal operation.
