VBxADC Filter Transfer Function for ACCN 20 to 32 VxADC Filter Transfer Function Figure 79 shows the transfer function of the VxADC signal path with and without typical external voltage sense RC filter at a conversion time of 0.27 ms. The given resistance value of the RC filters is the equivalent source impedance, which is the parallel combination of the two resistor values of the high- voltage divider or the NTC resistance and the reference resistor plus the value of an optional series resistance before the capacitor at the IC input pin. For the VxADC, it is recommended to set the external RC filter to a significant lower corner frequency compared to the IxADC and VBxADC inputs because it does not operate continuously on a single analog input pin but is triggered on demand, and the host must round robin over all the required inputs. If required, the filtering of the VxADC can be adjusted to match the IxADC 1 ms (0.44 kHz) or ACCN4 (0.11 kHz) response as shown following. |
